Moving from abroad
Are you moving to the Netherlands from another country? Then you must report your move to the municipality within five days after you arrive. You need to make an appointment for this.
Important! Are more than three people moving with you? Please call us at 040 208 34 44.
If you are going to live with someone who is already registered at the address, that person must give permission for your registration. Please use the permission form.
If you will live in the Netherlands for less than four months, you do not need to register in Valkenswaard. Instead, you must register as a non-resident in the BRP. This is called the Registration of Non-Residents (RNI). The nearest municipality where you can do this is Eindhoven.
